406 Brewing’s C-4 Pale Ale

IMG_0350C-4, that ever popular plastic explosive, is the right name for this powerful pale ale.

6.2% ABV
70 IBUs from Northwest hops

C-4 Pale Ale Notes

Appearance: The subtlest of amber tones with an one-finger white head.

Aroma: Tons of resin and, perhaps, grapefruit.

Mouthfeel: Clean, super clean. It was a fresh palette with each sip.

Taste: This one definitely tended to be more of an IPA than a traditional pale ale, but hell, I don’t really care about labels. The taste was full grapefruit and pleasant resin (I know, weird description).

Overall: A wonderful summer ale. A little high on the alcohol for a session ale, but 3 of these and you won’t care anyway.
