Bitterroot Brewing Nut Brown Ale
This beer is the one that I never pick up. I always see it sitting there next to the other Bitterroot Brewing brews, and yet I have never grabbed one. That was until tonight when I grabbed from the lone grocery store in Lolo as I was too lazy to drive into town.

Bitterroot Brewing Nut Brown Ale Notes
Appearance: Deep, deep brown nearing chocolate in color with a one-finger off-white head. Thin head lingered for quite some time.
Aroma: Tons of roasted malts and hints of caramel and hazelnut.
Mouthfeel: Lays pleasantly on the palette with a coating of the mouth, somewhat foam-like.
Taste: Hazelnut and malts are, not surprisingly, the dominant flavors.
Overall: With it’s mouthfeel and ABV, the Nut Brown Ale is almost sessionable. It is not overly bold in any aspect, it is just a good Brown Ale. I always think of Brown Ales as the warm blankets of beer, they feel like home.
