Tricerahops Double IPA

Tricerahops Double IPA

After a long lay off due to my gluten allergy, I am back to reviewing (with a vengeance). My first “new” review is the Tricerahops Double IPA from Ninkasi Brewing Company of Oregon.

Tricerahops Double IPA Particulars

8.8% ABV
Over 100 IBUs..that’s right…it’s BIG time!
2 Row Pale Malt, Munich Malt, Carahell Malt
Summit, Amarillo, Centennial, Palisade hop bill

Tricerahops Double IPA Notes

Appearance: Somewhat hazy golden to amber in color on the pour. The head was one-finger high and possessed that oatmeal-texture that I love.

Aroma: Having just eaten an organic peach, I thought the nose was very peachy.

Mouthfeel: Very creamy and inviting.

Taste: Stone fruits flavors, particularly peach and apricot, following by those IPA classic citrus and resin bitterness.

Overall: I totally loved this beer, and what a start to my return to reviewing…rock on.
