Cascading bubbles of the Nitro Stout

As Smokey Stout Day continued, I enjoyed the Nitro Stout, which is their base Stout (which the same base for the previous review of the CoCoNut Stout) served through nitrogen compression. I love beers on nitro as they tend to have such creaminess and fullness to their mouthfeel.

Nitro Stout Particulars

7.6% ABV
18 IBUs
Unknown grain and hop bills…I have to lock them down on these particulars

Nitro Stout Notes

Appearance: Opaque black with a tan dark tan head

Aroma: Coffe and dark chocolate

Mouthfeel: Rich and creamy with a slight carbonation bite to it.

Taste: Chocolate and coffee up front, and a some bitterness on the back end

Overall: Love the creaminess of this brew, and the way the bubbles cascade within the fresh pour.
