What could be a more appropriate stout for a smokey day? The Slurry Bomber Stout from the Glacier Brewing Company seems to fit that bill.
Slurry Bomber Stout Particulars
Unknown grain and hop bills…theme for the stouts…I think so.
Slurry Bomber Stout Notes
Appearance: Somewhat translucent black with a one finger light tan head, that persisted.
Aroma: Tons of espresso with some hints of toast
Mouthfeel: Very light on the palette, especially for a stout.
Taste: Coffee and roasted notes up front, followed by a soothing backend.
Overall: Incredibly drinkable with a lot in common with Black IPAs, especially the body.
