Well, Ruination IPA from Stone does everything it’s name implies. It was a wonderfully bitter and mouth-coating beer that it truly “ruined” my mouth for the rest of the night. To borrow a line from the Groucho and CHUD at the Beer Report, “Pucker up, Buttercup”

Appearance: Poured a hazy orangy-amber with a one-finger white head.

Aroma: Grapefruit and some floral

Mouthfeel: Completely mouth coating with medium body.

Taste: Extremely bitter with grapefruit and pine tastes.

I would give this brew an A, not a A+ because it does not allow me to have anything else all night, including another Ruination.

Appearance: Hazy, orange-amber with thin head with incrediblly persistant lacing. Aroma: Pine and citrus tucked in behind an amber maltiness. Mouth: Resin up front followed by very full malt mouthfeel. Creamy in the swallow along withback of the palette spruce flavors. Very pleasant alcohol warmth. Overall: What a perfect combination of full body, hoppy bomb,
